About the role

Nuclear Services unit offers nuclear related services and products to external customers. Organizationally, your position is in the Decommissioning and Disposal Services team of Nuclear Services, but you will collaborate widely within Nuclear Services and the nuclear business lines of Fortum. Your role is to support sales and marketing, based on the needs, by compiling and creating marketing and sales materials. Your main task during the summer is to produce high-quality reference project descriptions of Fortum’s past nuclear projects in text, MS PowerPoint and web page formats by interviewing the project managers and utilizing existing documentation. You may also help all the teams in Nuclear Services with other tasks.

 

In your role, you will work as a part of a dynamic team and get a good overview of B2B nuclear service business and learn about Fortum’s different projects in the nuclear industry.

 

About you

We’re looking for committed students or recent graduates eager to learn more and contribute to our purpose: to power a world where people, businesses and nature thrive together.

 

We hope that you apply for the position if you are:

  • Pursuing a degree in engineering/natural sciences with interest towards business, or pursuing a degree in business/marketing/communications but comfortable working with technical topics and contents. Other university study backgrounds are also possible.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, as you will be producing materials in English.
  • Good at writing clear, concise and grammatically correct texts. Being good with visuals is a benefit.
  • Able to work independently and proactively as well as collaborate with others.
  • Interested in both business and technical topics.

  • Receive an introduction to your tasks and be supported by your team. Your position will be in the Decommissioning and Disposal Services team consisting of sales professionals and nuclear back-end experts. You will also collaborate largely with the other teams.   • Work with interesting and diverse tasks with real responsibility. Your main responsibility will be to compile reference project descriptions of past projects that we have carried out. The descriptions will be used in marketing and sales.
