Summer Trainee, Integration Engineer

About the Role
As a Summer Trainee in Integration Engineering, you will support the development and maintenance of integrations, microservices, process services, and API concepts in Fortum cloud environments. This role offers a great opportunity to learn and contribute to global solutions while collaborating with internal and external professionals on IT projects.
Your main tasks will include:

Assisting in developing and maintaining integrations and operative data processes.

Supporting analysis, improvement, and migration of existing system integrations.

Helping ensure integrations and data solutions comply with company data privacy and security guidelines.

Contributing to maintaining high availability of data according to business needs.

Working according to company policies and agreed timelines.
About you
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have a university degree (or ongoing studies) in a relevant field such as computer science or engineering. But you should also have knowledge of:

Microsoft Azure integration and data technology stack.

API and event-driven microservices using ASP.Net Core, C#, SQL, and NoSQL.

Practical concepts of integrations and data processes.

Version control and documentation practices.

Strong communication skills and ability to document solutions clearly.

Interest in keeping up with digital trends and learning new technologies.
