Summer Trainee, Integration Engineer

About the Role

As a Summer Trainee in Integration Engineering, you will support the development and maintenance of integrations, microservices, process services, and API concepts in Fortum cloud environments. This role offers a great opportunity to learn and contribute to global solutions while collaborating with internal and external professionals on IT projects.

Your main tasks will include:

• Assisting in developing and maintaining integrations and operative data processes.

• Supporting analysis, improvement, and migration of existing system integrations.

• Helping ensure integrations and data solutions comply with company data privacy and security guidelines.

• Contributing to maintaining high availability of data according to business needs.

• Working according to company policies and agreed timelines.

About you

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have a university degree (or ongoing studies) in a relevant field such as computer science or engineering. But you should also have knowledge of:

• Microsoft Azure integration and data technology stack.

• API and event-driven microservices using ASP.Net Core, C#, SQL, and NoSQL.

• Practical concepts of integrations and data processes.

• Version control and documentation practices.

• Strong communication skills and ability to document solutions clearly.

• Interest in keeping up with digital trends and learning new technologies.
