About the role

The Summer trainee will be assigned to the Enterprise Applications team, which is responsible for IT services provided for whole Fortum. During your summer traineeship, you will get to know our working processes, methods and operations. You will be part of an expert team and support your teammates in their daily assignments and project tasks, mostly related to content management capability area. The role includes various tasks related to designing, documenting, communicating and testing changes related to service in question.

The final job description and tasks will be adjusted according to your profile and interest.

 

You will for example:

  • Help end-users with further leveraging productivity tools
  • Participate in the team's ongoing development projects
  • Help the team to plan end-user trainings
  • Participate in service management daily tasks
  • Work with the team on daily operational support tasks, especially during summer vacation period
  • Work in close co-operation with operational teams

 

About you

We are looking for a technical student at the beginning of their studies. We appreciate responsibility, a positive and energetic attitude, and willingness to take initiative.

 

You have gained knowledge on some of the following topics through your studies or past experience:

  • Microsoft 365 productivity tools, such as SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Copilot
  • Documentation techniques and processes
  • Working with Jira and Confluence
  • Understanding of ITSM concept is a benefit

 

In our work environment you will need fluent English skills (both written and spoken). Other language skills are considered an asset.
