The Digital Power programme is Fortum’s strategic initiative to modernize our Finance operations. We’re moving towards standardized, automated, and data-driven processes and ways of working, enabling smarter collaboration and decision-making throughout the company. At the core of this transformation is the implementation of a next-generation ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, powered by SAP. It will empower our people with better tools, real-time data, and more meaningful work.
About the role
As a Summer Trainee, you’ll join the Digital Power programme team, working specifically within the Order-to-Cash stream. This stream is focused on creating a seamless, automated solutions that enables our finance professionals to manage billing and reporting related activities efficiently. You’ll support the team in day-to-day tasks, gaining hands-on experience in project work, finance and digital process transformation
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the implementation of a new finance ERP solution (SAP) for Order-to-Cash processes
- Assisting with process documentation, testing, and user support
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end automation
- Participating in workshops and meetings, contributing your ideas and insights
- Helping to ensure data quality and smooth change management

About you

- Pursuing a degree in economics, technology, or a related field.
- Fluent in written and spoken English (our working language).
- Familiar with MS Office tools; experience with SAP Ariba is a plus.
