Procurement Local Business Partner

We are looking for a Procurement Local Business Partner to join our Procurement Business Partnering team in Poland, supporting the Heating & Cooling business.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of operations - working closely with local business and project stakeholders to ensure procurement is structured, timely, and ready for execution.
About the role
In this role, you act as the local front door for procurement, ensuring that business needs are translated into clear, structured procurement demand and executed according to agreed governance and ways of working.
You will play a key part in turning business needs into executable procurement actions, ensuring readiness, transparency, and alignment across stakeholders.
Main responsibilities:
Business interface & coordination
- Act as the primary local procurement contact and front-door owner for the assigned BU/BA portfolio
- Build strong relationships with local business, project, and site stakeholders
- Ensure procurement is involved early and consistently in business planning and project execution
Demand structuring & intake
- Translate business needs into structured intake packs and ready-to-buy procurement packages
- Ensure documentation, scope clarity, and timelines meet procurement standards
- Maintain visibility of the local procurement demand funnel
Planning & execution readiness
- Plan and coordinate procurement activities and RFx calendars in alignment with business priorities
- Ensure procurement packages are complete, prioritised and aligned with available capacity
- Track readiness across cost, schedule, risks, and dependencies
Cross-functional alignment
- Coordinate with Category Managers, Sourcing Managers, Project Managers, S2P, and Supplier Risk
- Support alignment on sourcing strategies, timelines, and execution milestones
- Ensure agreed procurement ways of working are applied consistently
Performance tracking & governance
- Track procurement pipeline performance including readiness, cost development, risks, and benefit realisation
- Work with PMO, Controlling, and Investment Analysis to validate assumptions and track outcomes
- Support compliance with procurement governance, policies, and supplier risk processes
Issue resolution & continuous improvement
- Support escalation and resolution of procurement issues, claims, and S2P topics
- Identify gaps in ways of working and help improve procurement processes locally
- Support stakeholders in adopting structured, efficient procurement practices
About you
You enjoy working close to the business and bringing structure to complex, project-driven environments. You are practical, hands-on, and able to coordinate multiple stakeholders to deliver results.
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience in portfolio planning, project environments, or stage-gate procurement models
- Strong stakeholder management, coordination, and prioritisation skills in a matrix organisation
- Ability to structure unclear business needs into actionable procurement inputs
- Experience in capital-intensive industries (energy, utilities, infrastructure, or industrial projects preferred)
- Understanding of procurement processes, sourcing, and supplier collaboration
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, project management, or similar roles
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in business, engineering, supply chain, or related field
- Project or portfolio management certification is considered an advantage
- Fluent in English and Polish. Nordic language skills are a strong asset
