Low-Code / RPA Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Low-Code / RPA Developer to join our international IT & Digitalisation team at Fortum. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about innovation, process automation and the potential of emerging digital technologies. In this role, you will play a critical part in scaling Fortum’s low-code and RPA capabilities, driving impactful digital transformation across the organization.
As a Low-Code / RPA Developer, you will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, designers, and data experts to deliver intelligent, scalable, and secure solutions – primarily using the Microsoft Power Platform. You will be a key player in promoting the adoption of low-code tools and establishing best practices across our organization.
About the role
- Design, develop, and deploy low-code solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio) to meet business needs.
- Act as a subject-matter expert for Power Platform governance, lifecycle management, and security.
- Support and promote low-code development within Fortum by building strong relationships with stakeholders and championing the platform.
- Drive the development of intelligent process automation (RPA), including end-to-end workflow and agent development.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper integration with Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Provide technical leadership and contribute to the creation of sustainable and scalable solutions.
- Engage in community-building and enablement activities to strengthen the organization’s low-code maturity.
About you
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Power Platform and RPA tools.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of Power Platform governance, security (DLP, RBAC), and lifecycle management.
- Experience with tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio.
- Programming experience in at least one language (e.g., C#, Python, JavaScript, React, TypeScript).
- Proven ability to deliver low-code solutions in complex environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with a customer-oriented and business-focused approach.
- Experience working in cross-functional international teams.
Nice to have
- Relevant Microsoft certifications.
- Experience with Azure services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or Azure AI Foundry.
- Knowledge of integration architecture and data management practices.
- Familiarity with data engineering and/or Power BI.
