Your role

We are now looking for a Turbine Control & Instrumentation Specialist to join our Turbine and Generator Services!
 

In your role you will be responsible for providing engineering support on turbine automation modernization and maintenance activities. In your duties you will also support sales and tendering with engineering content and on-site activities with various tasks related to turbine automation services and problem solving. You will also lead design discipline’s conversations with suppliers and client technical representatives on projects.
 

Your location can be in any of our local offices in Finland (Vantaa, Naantali, Oulu, Jyväskylä, Vaasa, and Imatra, among others) or Sweden (Västerås). We work flexibly in a hybrid setting that adapts to both your professional and personal needs.

 

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have a master's or a bachelor's degree with strong work experience in engineering in any relevant technical area. You have more than 5 years of experience in turbine automation engineering. Knowledge of power plant systems and applicable rules and standards is highly appreciated.
 

Since both our customers and our own staff are international you should be ready to travel, sometimes with short notice. We expect that you speak and write English fluently. Knowledge of Finnish or Swedish is considered as an advantage. You should have know-how for Turbine Island process and especially turbine controllers and protection.
