System Engineer

We are looking for a System Engineer to join the Physical Markets IT Team within the Corporate Customers and Markets (CCM) business unit.
About the role
As a System Engineer, your key application areas will be optimization, trading and dispatching of Hydro power. You will be supporting, maintaining and developing CCMs IT applications such as the central Scada, production planning and communication systems. You will get the opportunity to work closely with highly skilled colleagues. The position is based in Solna.
Some of your responsibilities will include:

Supporting, maintaining and developing CCMs applications

Taking on the main responsibility for some applications
-
Collaborate with end-users to understand their needs and provide technical support

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
-
Perform maintenance tasks, such as updates and patches
-
Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
-
Participate in projects related to application upgrades and implementations
As you work with real time markets and productions sites, the applications you will work with are business critical and used 24/7. Due to the nature of the industry, you need to be ready to shift focus during your day and prioritize among multiple tasks and possible incidents that may arise.
You will be introduced and trained to be part of a 24/7 oncall team that handles critical incidents outside of office hours.
About you
To succeed in the position, you would need to be service minded and have a problem solving mindset. You are comfortable switching between tasks and are able to keep calm and prioritize even in stressful situations. You work well on your own but know when to involve colleagues.
In addition, you possess the following,

University level educational background in Engineer, IT or Automation and/or relevant work experience

A genuine interest in working with computers and applications

Fluent speaking and writing in Swedish and English is a must
It is to your benefit if,

You have working experience from Hydro power and IT, and specifically Scada systems
-
You have some experience from programming in general and VBA in particular
