Spot Trader

About the role

We are looking for a Spot Trader (production optimiser) to Solna United in Stockholm where you will be part of our Production Asset Trading team in the Physical Trading organisation. As a Spot Trader, you will be responsible for the physical production optimisation and offer the available production capacity to different market channels. You will place bids to the physical spot market as well as to the ancillary power markets. You will be part of a team working on a rotational basis which includes weekends every fifth to sixth week.

In addition to the operative work you will have possibility to work with improvement and development of our processes and tools to fit with coming market change.

What we are looking for
You hold a degree in Economics or Engineering. Alternatively you have relevant work experience from energy trading or dispatching. You are passionate to the power market industry and have an interest within trading.
 

You have an analytical and proactive mindset with the ability to grasp the bigger picture while still paying attention to the details. You have good communication and team working skills as well as have the ability to take own decisions. We see that you are fluent in English and mastering the Swedish language is seen as an advantage.
