In your role you will: 
In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into architectural designs, contribute to project planning, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver and maintain solutions for our hydro business. “Hydropower is the most important form of renewable energy in the Nordic countries. Apart from being a renewable source of power, it produces no CO₂ emissions. Hydropower is also predictable and reliable, as well as flexible. That makes it possible for hydropower to be the regulator that fills the gaps when the wind is not blowing and the sun not shining, and the other renewables cannot produce. This makes hydropower crucial in the change towards a fossil-free future, free from CO₂.” 
The Hydro IT team is located in Finland and Sweden, developing and maintaining Hydro business applications. Working closely with the business You will have a critical impact on developing our whole application fleet.  

 

What we are looking for 
We are seeking for a person who has proven themselves in designing and developing IT solutions, working closely and bridging between Business and IT stakeholder. 
The candidate should have experience in the energy production sector or a related process industry, characterized by large-scale infrastructure, heavy capital investment, and the challenge of integrating and updating legacy systems within a framework of strict regulations and security protocols, all while delivering a reliable output.  
     
Requirements for the role are: 
    • Proven collaboration skills with business and internal IT stakeholders 
    • Working several years in IT development within the energy sector or infrastructure intensive industry 
    • Experience with cloud computing / on prem infrastructure, data management and security. 
    • A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field of study 
    • Good oral and written communication skills in English and Swedish, other Nordic languages are a plus. 

 

Location: 
• This position will be in Stockholm, Sweden.
