About the role
As Manager Dam Portfolio Management, you will lead the team responsible for operative Dam Safety Management for the Dam Portfolio.
In your role you will:
• Lead the Dam Portfolio Team, meaning leading a team of about 10 employees with broad experience and different backgrounds,
focusing on dam safety
• Report to the Head of Asset Development and as Dam Safety relates to several areas in Hydro business, cooperation throughout the
whole value chain is vital
• Together with your team monitor asset condition, risks and deliver mitigation plans
• Support and follow-up the systematic approach set-out in the Dam safety management system
• Ensure best practice ways of working, e.g. assessment of conditions, classification and categorisation, optimisation of maintenance
Location of the position is: Solna, Karlstad or Östersund. Please note that other locations in Sweden are viable upon agreement.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a person with excellent leadership (including change) capabilities and a clear, strong dam safety focus. You must be able to manage a large team spread across wide geographical areas. You should be goal-oriented with a hands-on approach to dam safety. Fluency in English is required, Finnish and Swedish is an advantage.
