About the role
As Director Corporate Relations Hydro, you will:

Lead a team of communication and public affairs professionals, managing both strategic planning and hands-on execution.

Develop and implement integrated communication, public affairs, and stakeholder management plans at local, regional, and national levels in Sweden and Finland.

Act as a key spokesperson on hydro-related issues and provide expert advice on national and EU legislation.

Support business operations through proactive internal and external communication, and help profile the EVP of Hydro.

Manage a budget for hydro communication and public affairs, and coordinate closely with sustainability and environmental teams.
- The position is based in Stockholm/Solna, with regular travel to Espoo.
About you
We are looking for a leader who brings:

At least 5 years of relevant experience in Public Affairs and communication.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Strong knowledge of energy and climate-related issues and a broad network within the energy sector

Proven leadership and motivational skills, with experience managing teams.

The ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and drive results in a dynamic, cross-border context
