About the role
As Manager, Internal Finance, you will play a key role in managing Group Internal Financing from our Irish financing company. The Internal Financing is part of Group Treasury process and facilitated in Ireland by Group Tax. You will ensure that Internal Financing activities are executed in accordance with defined Group and local policies, mandates, and controls, while supporting business needs and strategic initiatives. The position is based in Shannon, Ireland.
In your role, you will:
- Develop, manage and maintain internal loan management process, including loan applications, counter party risk, FX, pricing and loan agreement terms
- Manage the lease portfolio, including agreements, insurance, risk and pricing, and asset overview
- Secure effective and profitable global financing operations by managing portfolio and pricing related risks and risk mitigation
- Maintain RACI for group internal long term financing process and Secure Fortum governance rules covering all functions needed for debt and lease financing
- Participate in board meetings, collect material and prepare presentations to the board, seek mandates and ensure the execution of the board resolutions related to financing
- Co-operate with Treasury, Group Tax and Fortum business
- Support strategically important projects, including M&A activities and internal restructuring
- Function as back-up for the Senior Manager, Internal Finance & Pricing, NL in relevant areas
About you
You will have a finance background with knowledge of financing, leasing, foreign exchange markets, governance, and internal controls. You are comfortable working in a complex international environment.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field/equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a Finance role
- Experience in developing and working with policies, governance, and internal controls
- Strong skills in computer/digital solutions
- Ability to present and advise on complex topics at management level
- Fluency in English

- Clear communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Ability to have an overview perspective on the Group finances and link to internal financing approach
