About the role
As Corporate Relations Manager, you will be at the forefront of Fortum’s external communication and stakeholder management in Norway. You’ll ensure timely, accurate, and proactive communication with both external and internal stakeholders. All while using a wide range of tools and channels to your disposal. Your work will directly support Fortum’s strategy and address country-specific needs, as well as the whole of Fortum’s perspective towards the Nordic market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement integrated communication and stakeholder engagement strategies across local, regional, and national levels.
- Serve as the primary media spokesperson for Fortum in Norway, supporting leaders with effective messaging and public profiles.
- Coordinate crisis communication processes, including ongoing training and readiness exercises.
- Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, creating engaging content and leading PR initiatives for business units.
- Plan and manage stakeholder events, press activities, and advocacy efforts, including budget oversight and coordination with country teams.
About you
We’re looking for someone with:
- Master’s degree in communications or equivalent relevant experience
- 5–10 years of communications experience, preferably in the energy sector, business, or politically engaged industries
- Strong knowledge of the media landscape, including social media, public affairs, and the energy industry
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure within a matrix organization and collaborate effectively with teams.
- Experience in public affairs and stakeholder management
- Location in Oslo or Kristiansand, Norway
