Consumer Customer, Risk Manager, Nordics

As our Consumer Customer, Risk Manager, Nordics, you will be responsible for formulating and implementing strategies to address business risk exposure in consumer markets across Finland, Norway, and Sweden. You will own, develop and manage the risk process and risk register while actively supporting the organization driving risk awareness and mitigation.


About the role

Risk strategy execution & process ownership:

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve risk management strategies for the Nordic Consumer Customer segment
  • Maintain and update the risk register, ensuring all risks are identified, assessed, mitigated and continuously reviewed according to company policy
  • Facilitate the risk management process, including reporting to management and leadership

Business support & collaboration:

  • Provide expert guidance to the organization on business risks
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure risks are considered in all business decisions
  • Deliver training and support to internal stakeholders on risk management strategies
  • Promote a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk mitigation across teams

Deliverables:

  • Prepare and present risk assessment reports, including recommendations and action plans
  • Facilitate and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
  • Define guidelines and templates for risk documentation
  • Support project deliveries by identifying risks, proposing mitigation actions, and ensuring deliverables are met within scope, timeline, and quality targets.

About You

  • Base knowledge of the electricity commodity market
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in risk management, preferably related to energy or commodity markets
  • Strong people management and collaborative skills
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Academic degree in a relevant field (business, finance, engineering, or similar).
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
