Travel and Expense Management Trainee

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee to join our Travel and Expense Management Team (TEM) team.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to develop their finance and accounting knowledge in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Trainee, you will be supporting key processes within the TEM function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of travel and expense records.

Key Responsibilities

• Claim Processing: Accurately handling incoming travel and expense claims
• Issue Resolution: Reminds employees about timely handling of expenses and serves customer in various questions, problems and proposals related to TEM and Eurocard.
• Payment Execution: Assist in preparing payment runs in accordance with the company’s payment calendar and guidelines.
• Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures, contributing to audit readiness and risk mitigation.
• Documentation: Maintain proper records and documentation for audit trails and internal reviews.
• Reporting & Analysis: Support the team in generating reports related to TEM area.
• Process Improvement: Contribute ideas for process enhancement and automation in the TEM workflow.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting processes.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional customer service and collaborative abilities.
• Accuracy and attention to details.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
