Travel and Expense Management Junior Specialist

Join our team as a Travel and Expense Management Junior Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining accurate travel and expense records. ​

In this position, you will manage timely transactions, resolve operational issues, and provide exceptional customer service. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, explore innovative solutions, and support onboarding of new team members when needed.

 

More information about the role and responsibilities:​

  • Handles incoming travel and expense claims.

  • Reminds employees about timely handling of expenses 

  • Supports AirPlus application process and monitors overdue invoices​

  • Reconciles TEM claims, payments and travel accounts

  • Handles applications for A1 forms for employees’ temporary assignments in EU/EEA countries or Switzerland

  • Follows up Fortum Group travel days per employee to different geographies to monitor risks related to Economic Employer and Physical Establishment 

  • Responds to customer inquiries, resolves issues, and supports proposals related to TEM and AirPlus

  • Enhances relevant process instructions and identifies needs for new standards

 

About you: ​

  • Educational background in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field ​

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Understanding of finance and accounting procedures and tools

  • Knowledge of international finance and/or accounting standards and legislation is an asset​

  • Travel and Expense Management processes knowledge is considered as an asset
  • Previous accounting and customer service experience is an asset

  • Advanced end-user computing skills, with a strong knowledge of MS Office tools

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

  • Excellent customer service and collaboration skills
