We are looking for a Senior Manager, Procurement Operations to lead team of procurement professionals to develop and perform operational procurement services. The role focuses on process excellence, spend channel management, and digital procurement transformation, including the implementation and continuous development of SAP Ariba solutions.

This role requires a leader who can drive change, set a clear vision for procurement operations, and motivate teams to achieve ambitious performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and empower the procurement team by creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Set a clear vision for procurement operations, and motivate teams to achieve ambitious performance targets.
  • Lead and develop procurement operations and processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and high service quality
  • Drive spend channel management, ensuring that purchases flow through the most efficient and compliant procurement channels
  • Lead the digital transformation of RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) to ensure sourcing activities are structured, transparent, and drive competitive supplier participation.
  • Establish and enforce clear governance for RFx processes, supported by effective digital tools, standardized procedures, and proactive supplier engagement.
  • Drive the development of efficient supplier onboarding processes to enable seamless supplier participation in sourcing events and procurement activities.
  • Build and lead advanced procurement analytics and reporting capabilities to strengthen performance management, support strategic and tactical sourcing decisions, and provide actionable insights and transparency through robust KPIs to drive continuous improvement and value creation across the Source-to-Pay process.
  • Promote the adoption of digital sourcing platforms such as SAP Ariba to improve sourcing efficiency, transparency, and user experience.
  • Lead continuous process improvement initiatives across the Source-to-Pay process
  • Set clear performance targets and KPIs for operations and actively drive performance improvements
  • Develop and communicate a compelling vision for procurement operations, aligned with the company’s strategic objectives
  • Act as a change leader by engaging stakeholders across procurement, finance, and business functions
  • Identify and implement digitalization and automation opportunities to improve productivity and process discipline
  • The position requires some business travel

 

About you:

Qualifications

  • Relevant university degree (e.g., business, supply chain, engineering, or related field)
  • Significant experience in operational procurement, sourcing, or Source-to-Pay processes
  • Experience managing RFx processes and competitive sourcing activities
  • Proven experience in leading change and driving performance improvements
  • Experience with SAP Ariba or similar procurement platforms
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire teams and build high-performing organizations
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into operational improvements
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proficient level of English, both written and spoken.
