Your New Role
The RTR process specialist, will be a member of the Global RTR team reporting to manager of our Record to Report process in Fortum Financial Services based in Gdansk, Poland. Your main goal will be to ensure that our end-to-end process is efficient, effective, and optimized through the use of technology and standardized across the organization. You will play a crucial role in implementing digital transformation initiatives, process improvement strategies, and automation solutions according to the strategic alignment and centralized view of Finance Group.
Your Role Key Accountabilities
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives across RTR processes in Global R2R team.
- Identify opportunities for RTR process standardization and optimalization across entities in Global R2R team scope,
- Collaborate with the global development & IT teams to integrate to the overall development roadmap initiatives
- Collaborate with global development team, business controllers, group accounting and other key stakeholders to standardize processes across organization and ensure seamless integration of new processes and procedures.
- Effectively communicate changes in processes and procedures to all relevant stakeholders.
- Lead change management activities for process and system enhancements in Gdansk operations in collaboration with Development team
Who we look for:
To be successful in this role as an RTR Analyst, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and personal attributes:
Strong Finance and Accounting Knowledge.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. ACCA or other accounting qualifications would be a plus
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a finance environment, preferably in RTR in global SSC, with at least 2 years of experience in business process re-engineering and/or finance optimization projects’ coordination - must have
- Qualifications in Continuous Improvement recognized methodology would be a plus
Proficiency in ERP systems and Process Performance Management
- Experience and a proven track record in process performance management
- Working knowledge of ERP system, i.e. Oracle, SAP, etc.
- Experience with task management tool, i.e. Blackline, Service Now, Trintech
- Power BI/ SQL/Power Query/VBA knowledge will be a key plus
Project and Change Management Experience
- Demonstrated experience in leading projects and driving change within an organization
- Process transformation experience and continuous improvement mindset
- Proven track record of developing and implementing standardized processes in a global organization.
Excellent Communication and Influencing Skills
- Effective communication, relationship building, stakeholders' management and networking skills and the ability to collaborate across functions and geographies
- Ability to build credibility, influence and challenge stakeholders at senior levels without direct authority
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
