Join Fortum as a Continuous Improvement Lead, Record-to-Report (R2R)
Are you passionate about driving operational excellence and shaping the future of finance? We’re looking for a Continuous Improvement Lead to join Fortum’s Finance Development team within Group Finance. In this role, you will lead and manage strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, standardization, and performance across the organization.

 

Your key responsibilities include, e.g.:

  • Responsible for managing the continuous improvement portfolio
  • Conduct thorough reviews of existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
  • Drive the implementation of standardized and optimized solutions for processes in collaboration with Finance teams
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Act as a change agent for the continuous improvement agenda across teams
  • Provide training and coaching to team members on continuous improvement methodologies and tools

We are looking for a new team member in Gdansk, but we work flexibly in a hybrid model that adapts to both your professional and personal needs.

The position includes some travelling. 

 

About you:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a continuous improvement or process improvement role and equivalent degree in accounting or finance
  • Deep knowledge of R2R process environment, as well as strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong change management, collaboration, and communication skills, along with a performance and development-oriented mindset
