Junior AP Accountant (12-Month Contract)

About the role

Join our Accounts Payable team on a 12-month contract and support daily AP operations in a dynamic finance environment. In this role, you will process invoices, support vendor account activities and help ensure timely and accurate handling of payables in line with internal procedures and financial controls. 

Working closely with more experienced team members, finance stakeholders and internal customers, you will support invoice verification, issue resolution, vendor communication and basic reporting activities. You will also contribute to process stability by following defined workflows, maintaining accurate data and escalating issues when needed. 

 

About you 

You are at the beginning of your finance career and would like to develop your skills in Accounts Payable. You are detail-oriented, well organized and comfortable working with numbers, documents and financial data. You learn quickly, ask questions when needed and are motivated to understand end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes. 

You have good communication skills and a collaborative mindset. You are open to working in an international environment, able to follow procedures and willing to build practical knowledge of ERP systems, financial controls and AP operations. Previous AP, finance or accounting experience will be an advantage. 

Key requirements 

  • Basic understanding of accounting, finance or Accounts Payable processes 
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy when working with invoices, data and documentation 
  • Good Excel skills and willingness to work with reports and financial data 
  • Willingness to learn ERP systems and follow defined AP procedures; SAP knowledge will be an advantage 
  • Good communication skills, team orientation and readiness to cooperate with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Good practical knowlegde of English
