About the role
As the Vice President, Digital Customer Offerings (DCO), you will lead and accelerate our large-scale digitalization and AI based product & service development, for the benefit of our international consumer and enterprise customers’ success, driving measurable business value for all key stakeholders.
This is a high-impact Fortum Consumer Solutions Leadership Team role, with full accountability for developing and growing our digital customer offering across Fortum Consumer Solutions, the most popular energy solutions provider for consumers and SMEs in the Nordics, and the leading challenger in Poland. You will create a long-term strategic plan, while ensuring short-term execution excellence. The scope combines business transformation, commercial service and product development leadership, and technology excellence.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a key member of the Fortum Consumer Solutions Leadership Team, contributing to overall strategic direction
- Leading the development and growth of our digital customer offerings, with clear key stakeholders targets (like customer recommendation, net revenues and profitability to mention a few)
- Driving our strategic digitalization roadmap aligned with our business goals
- Owning budget, performance tracking and financial outcomes
- Ensuring secure and compliant digital solutions in close collaboration with IT and security stakeholders
- Translating strategic vision into operational plans and tangible results
You will lead our team of leaders and specialists, working closely with our Business Areas, Group IT, and other internal stakeholders across the organization. The role also involves active collaboration with external partners and networks.
This position offers the opportunity to operate at the intersection of business strategy, commercial product and service development, and technology – with significant influence on the future digital customer experience. You will be part of an international environment where leadership, innovation and continuous improvement are key.
In this role you will report to the Executive Vice President, Fortum Consumer Solutions, Digitalization and Innovation. This position will be free to hybrid locate at any of our modern campuses in Espoo, Solna, Oslo or Gdansk.
About you
We are looking for a strategic and commercially driven senior leader with a strong commercial product & service development, modern technology based, mindset and ability to translate complexity into clear direction.
You likely bring:
- Extensive experience from leading digital transformation, product & service development, or large-scale digital customer offerings
- Strong financial understanding and proven business experience managing significant budgets and performance targets
- Experience from senior leadership roles with responsibility for both business strategy and execution
- Solid understanding of digital security, compliance and governance in complex organizations
- Higher academic degree within Business, Engineering, Technology or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills in English (Nordic languages are an advantage)
