VP, Legal Customers

We are looking for a VP, Legal Customers in Espoo or Solna to shape strategic legal support for complex B2B customer transactions and partnerships at the highest level, as well as support B2C customer activities, while leading a high-performing legal team.
About the Role
As VP, Legal Customers, you will lead and inspire the Legal Customers team to deliver high performance, proactive solutions, and efficient collaboration across business units. This role focuses on providing robust and strategic legal support for customer-related matters, managing risk, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coaching the team to achieve excellence and foster collaboration
- Providing strategic legal advice on both B2B and B2C customer transactions and business models, critical partnerships, and complex agreements
- Serving as primary legal advisor for B2B customer-related matters, including contract drafting and negotiation for Corporate Customers and Markets business unit
- Supporting Innovation & Venturing business in legal matters
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, including co-owners, authorities, regulators, and partners
- Driving compliance and operational efficiency in legal processes and external counsel management
- Implementing best practices, digital tools, and workflows to improve risk mitigation and operational performance
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while promoting forward-looking legal solutions

What we’re looking for:
- Master of Law degree
- Over 18 years of extensive experience in complex, international legal matters
- Proven ability to lead and coach high-performing legal teams
- Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills especially in international B2B business environment and with industry leading corporations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations and deliver under tight timelines
- Experience in legal technology adoption and process improvement
- Can do-attitude
