About the role

As a Tax Trainee, you will support our Group Tax function in a wide range of tax advisory tasks in corporate tax, mainly in the area of corporate income tax, value added tax and withholding tax. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation and assisting with tax ruling and tax controversy processes
• Supporting the preparation and review of tax documentation
• Monitoring group level tax law and practice changes
• Conducting tax analyses for ongoing projects
• Coordinating data collection from internal stakeholders
• Supporting day-to-day operational tax matters
• Participating in development initiatives within the tax function

Some of your tasks can be tailored to your interests and background, offering you a challenging environment where you can learn, grow and contribute.

About you

We are looking for a student in the final stages of studies in law with focus on Finnish tax. Here is what we value:

• Academic progress: You have completed at least 150 ECTS of your studies by the start of the traineeship in the faculty of law
• Technical & analytical skills: Strong analytical capabilities and ability to learn new concepts quickly
• Working style: proactive, accurate and detail-oriented approach, ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Language skills: Native Finnish language is mandatory due to the nature of the tasks, also the need for good written and spoken English.
