Our team consists of around 40 professionals located in Finland, Sweden, Poland and Norway.
About the role
We are seeking a motivated law student to join our Group Legal team as Legal Trainee at our headquarters in Espoo. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a large publicly listed company working closely with our Legal team members and other professionals. As our new Legal Trainee, you will support our Legal team as well as various internal stakeholders in a wide range of assignments.
You task will include:
- independently review NDAs and similar agreements.
- conduct legal research and analysis.
- support the Legal team and other stakeholders with day-to-day legal tasks.
Part of the trainee assignments can be adapted based on your personal interests and prior experience, ensuring a meaningful and engaging learning experience.
This is a full-time fixed-term traineeship lasting six to seven months, starting on 17 August 2026.
About you
We are looking for a law student approaching the completion of their law degree at a Finnish law school. To be considered for the position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Academic progress: you have completed at least 180 ECTS credits in your legal studies (please note that the position is intended for a law student, and the master's degree must not be completed at the start of the traineeship).
- Language skills: you have excellent written and spoken Finnish, and strong overall communication skills.
- Proactive mindset and precision: you take initiative and work with care, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage workload: you are comfortable working on several assignments in parallel, can prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
- Self-direction: you have a solution-oriented mindset and feel confident working autonomously.
- Motivation and interest: you are genuinely interested in the work of an in-house legal function and keen to deepen your understanding of contract law and the energy sector.
While not required, previous experience in the following areas is considered an advantage:
- work experience in a law firm and/or an in-house legal team.
- experience in drafting and reviewing agreements.
- international exposure, such as exchange studies.
