About the role
We are now looking for a Tracking Implementation Specialist to join our Martech team in DCO.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop tracking and data collection across Google Tag Manager. You will implement and maintain pixels, events, and conversion tracking across platforms (e.g. Meta, Google Ads, TikTok). You will also define and align the dataLayer structure to ensure accurate and consistent event tracking.
- Translate business needs into technical tracking specifications for developers and stakeholders.
- Conduct QA and debugging to ensure data accuracy and tracking quality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless governance model across platforms.
- Be responsible for insuring that our data collection is compliant with GDPR regulatory rules and legislations, as well as insurance privacy compliance. You will also manage cookie consent frameworks.
- The role may also include other coding tasks in Fortum’s own systems in the MarTech area.
About you
To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you have:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Technical Web Analyst, Measurement Specialist, Front end developer with dataLayer experience or similar.
- Experience with server-side tracking setup, including container configuration and data flows.
- Deep expertise in GTM (client & server-side), dataLayer planning, and tag architecture.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript for building dataLayer pushes, HTML and CSS as well as building custom tags and triggers.
- Strong skills in documentation and the ability to create actionable technical guidelines.
- Proven experience managing tracking across one or more e-commerce platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management-, presentation- and communication skills.
- Confidence in coding across different MarTech systems, as the role also involves working with Fortum’s own communication platforms.
- Experience with BigQuery and BI tools such as PowerBI, Data Studio etc, will be considered an advantage.
- Fluent skills in English is required for the role. Proficiency in one of the Nordic languages is beneficial.
