System Manager

We at the IT Hedging and MI team are now looking for new talent to join us as a System Manager at our Espoo office. There is also a possibility to be based at our Solna office. Your future team members currently operate in Espoo with a flexible hybrid work model.
About the role:
As a System Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing software releases or overseeing system operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and managing software releases, ensuring smooth and timely deployment of applications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather release requirements and develop release plans.
- Overseeing system operations, monitoring system performance, and ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Implementing and maintaining release management processes and procedures.
- Troubleshooting and resolving release-related issues, working closely with development and infrastructure teams.
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Providing technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to release management and system operations.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Strong organizational and technical skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Experience in application release management or system management.
- Basic Azure knowledge and familiarity with cloud-based technologies.
- Experience in data archiving, database administration, and MS SQL Server management.
- Proficiency in Windows IIS management.
- Fluent English and Finnish communication skills
- Proficiency in Powershell, C#, Visual Studio, and SQL.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
