About the role
You will be working within a team of GIS experts in the Asset and Locations IT domain. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining companywide shared solutions related to Asset Management and GIS, your role focusing on GIS.
Your focus area as Specialist, GIS will be in our ArcGIS technology-based platform and solutions.
In your role, you will mainly focus on planning and implementing GIS analytics and solutions to businesses on your responsibility, together with Solution Architect, GIS and other GIS specialists in the team, but also help business users with other GIS related issues.
The job can be located either in Espoo, Finland or Stockholm, Sweden. The ability to be present at the office two to three times a week is expected.
About you
As a person you are curious, self-driven, forward looking and motivated by change and new challenges. You enjoy working with other people. You have structured, solution-oriented and analytical mindset which drives your daily work.
You have comparable full-time work experience of a couple of years working with GIS based analytics and solution implementations with ArcGIS technology.
Also, you communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written, and - if you are coming outside Finland or Sweden - you have a valid work permit to either of these countries.
To succeed in this role, we think you have:
- A domain understanding of GIS and spatial data
- Expertise in GIS data processing and GIS analytics
- Good knowledge in using ArcGIS technology: ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise Portal and/or ArcGIS Online
- Experience of implementation and maintenance of ArcGIS Web Applications
- Understanding of business processes and ability to document them
- Communication and collaboration skills with businesses and internal IT stakeholders as well as with different expert teams
