About the role

Our Data and Integrations organisation is committed to building the Fortum Data ecosystem, which will underpin AI advancements across Fortum Enterprise and its business units. We are seeking talented individuals who are enthusiastic about contributing their expertise to this journey and are motivated to continually learn and develop.

As a Solution Architect, Data, you will become part of our Architecture and Integrations team within Data and Integrations. If you have previously worked as a Data Architect, collaborating with the business to model business terms and data models, or as a Solution Architect designing Data Platforms, you could be the ideal candidate. Experience and knowledge in data management, particularly in relation to Master Data, would also be advantageous.

In this role you will be:

• Collaborating with the business to define business terminology and develop data models
• Identifying, specifying, and modelling Fortum Master Data
• Establishing solution architecture specifications for our data solutions to be developed on our platforms
• Contributing to the planning of effective Data Governance and Data Management operations in partnership with the business, and participating in joint initiatives with technical leads, experts, and architects across various roles within our organisation

We also offer you a chance to work with key technology platforms, including AWS Cloud, Azure Cloud, Azure Fabric, Power BI, Qlik Sense, Databricks Lakehouse, and Confluent Data Streaming. We also utilise Bizzdesign as a modelling tool to maintain awareness of our core technology landscape and the nature of technologies surrounding our data solutions. The focus remains on business priorities and content.

About you

To succeed in this role, you need to have:

• Experience and skills in collaborating with the business on data modelling

• Proficiency in various data modelling techniques
• Understanding of Master Data
• Understanding and experience of metadata design
• Understanding and experience of data management activities within data solutions
• Understanding and knowledge of Cloud Platform technologies and key data analytics / Data Platform technology products
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and applying agility

Other things that is nice to have and will be considered to your advantage when applying:

• Experience in Master Data Management operations
• Good knowledge of both data and integration solutions, as the aim is to unite these areas
• Experience in planning effective action plans to acquire new data assets for new use cases
• Experience and understanding of company finance data area
