Software Engineer

We at DCO are now looking for software developers to join our development team for Enterprise Customers.   

About the role  

• Work with frontend and  backend for our web application. 

• Understand customer’s requirements and how these translate to new application features   

• Collaborate with the development team and people in other technical roles to set the specifications for new applications   

• Ensure that the product adheres to high quality standards for development and testing, code standards, etc.   

• Contribute to developing and sustaining effective teams across product teams and country boarders   

• Contribute to the agile team’s success and delivery   

• Apply your problem-solving skills and write simple and understandable code   

• Contribute to evolving the technical setup and architecture to ensure reliability, scalability and security without unnecessary complexity   

• Work closely with colleagues based in the Nordics and in Poland, some travel might occur   

About you   

• A higher degree in Software Engineering or relevant experience from similar work   

• More than 4 years’ experience with one or more of these technologies: React, JavaScript, Typescript, Node.js, Next.js, REST API, Graph.Ql, Contentful   

• You have a background with development for web applications   

• Work experience with agile methodology like Scrum or similar   

• You are a team player who is confident to take responsibility for your own tasks   

• Experience with Azure cloud or similar    

• We are an international organization, and you need to communicate well both speaking and writing in English   

• For this position, you need to be located close to our offices in Helsinki, Stockholm, Göteborg, Oslo or Kristiansand. We expect you to work from the office at least two days per week.
