Fortum is looking for a Service Manager for Security Services to join our team!

About the role
We are a dynamic and forward-thinking company committed to innovation and excellence in our industry. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented Service Manager to join our Enterprise Applications team of 10 professionals. The team empowers our business areas by delivering scalable IT services that drive operational excellence and strategic outcomes.
You will lead the management and strategic development of our safety and physical security IT systems. This role combines elements of service ownership, governance, and technical expertise, with a strong focus on collaboration across IT, Real Estate, and Corporate Security teams.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage and maintain group-wide Physical Access Control and CCTV systems, ensuring performance, availability, and compliance in close collaboration with Corporate Security and business stakeholders.
- Act as IT service owner for EHQS-related applications, including safety incident reporting, iChemistry, travel risk tools, and CSRD reporting systems, ensuring reliability and regulatory alignment.
- Oversee IT services supporting Real Estate operations, such as the Flowscape workspace system and Infoscreen digital signage, in coordination with service providers and facility teams.
- Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for physical security systems, covering both hardware and software components, including integration with enterprise IT environments.
- Ensure secure deployment and maintenance of security applications in alignment with IT infrastructure and cybersecurity standards.
- Lead system documentation, training initiatives, and user support for global business units and security operations.
- Analyze usage and performance data to improve system effectiveness and support audits, compliance requirements, and continuous process development.
- Contribute to cross-functional collaboration with IT, Security, and Real Estate to align services with operational needs and corporate strategy.
About you
We would expect you to have the following qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Service Manager in safety or physical security-related IT environments.
- Hands-on expertise in access control and CCTV systems, ideally including Lenel OnGuard.
- Knowledge of cloud-based security solutions and modern infrastructure practices.
- Strong understanding of IT cost management and vendor coordination.
- Experience supporting global applications and working in a complex, multi-vendor environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and sustainability reporting systems.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and business domains.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
