Senior Manager P2X Project Origination and Development

About the role
Your main role will be to originate and manage projects until the preparations for FID commence, whereafter you will have a commercially oriented role as the main customer and partner responsible for the projects and commercial project management. In addition to this, you will support the whole team with pricing strategies and business case development.

Your main tasks would include but not be limited to:

• Search new leads and from them originate new projects into our project pipeline.
• Act as project manager from the origination phase up until the preparations for FID have started.
• After the transition of the main project management to the technical project manager, act as commercial project manager accountable for the customer and partner relationship, as well as the commercial success of the projects.
• Manage relationships to project partners, suppliers, contractors, authorities and customers.
• Support in execution and development of Fortum's P2X strategic development.
• Create and develop business models, pricing strategies and partnering options.
• Support the whole P2X team with business case development and evaluation and options for pricing.

The position will be located in Espoo.

About you

To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you have:

• An academic degree in a relevant field such as technology or business.
• 8-10 years of experience in business development and origination, whereof several in the hydrogen/P2X field.
• Well-developed commercial skills, including business case development and calculations, as well as pricing strategy development on project and portfolio level.
• Strong leadership, collaboration and project management skills. Furthermore, you have strong problem solving and analytical skills, proven negotiation skills, commercial thinking and the ability to create and execute strategies from scratch.
• Fluent skills in English and Finnish. Additional language skills will be considered a plus.
