Senior Manager, Business Control

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Business Control, Loviisa NPP to join Nuclear Generation finance in Espoo.

About the role

As a Senior Manager, Business Control your main role is to lead the finance processes in Loviisa NPP to ensure achievement of performance targets and to enhance business performance by acting as trusted advisor to the line leadership team. You will contribute to the success of Nuclear Generation business unit as part of Nuclear Generation finance -team.

Main responsibilities:

· Lead the finance of the Loviisa NPP business line as part of business line leadership team

· Serve as a strategic partner to Loviisa organization, providing financial insights and guidance to support decision-making and achieve business objectives

· Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with Loviisa NPP LT to develop accurate financial projections

· Ensure Investment Process / Business case finance governance and quality control on Business line level

· Work closely with Business to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance of Loviisa NPP to ensure alignment with strategic objectives

· Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and dashboards to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.

· Ensure the correctness of Loviisa Nuclear waste related calculations and reports

· Represent Fortum in discussions with external stakeholders related to nuclear waste

About you

You have an academic degree in Economics and proven experience (5-10 years) in business controlling, preferably in Nordic listed company. You are keen on learning Nuclear business and in order to succeed in this role you are required to be present at the Loviisa power plant site at least 2-4 times per month.

You are a business-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing others across Fortum’s global organization. You exhibit proactive and team-oriented behavior, yet you can also achieve set targets independently. Additionally, you possess strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office, and have a solid understanding of finance systems and business intelligence tools.

Experience working within large production unit is seen as an advantage.

You are fluent in Finnish and English.
