We are looking for an Project Manager to join our team at Fortum Turbine and Generator Services (TGS). In this role, you will oversee a range of customer delivery projects and long-term service agreements (LTSA), while providing support to our sales team. Your place of employment is primarily planned in one of our Finnish offices which are located in Naanatali/Åbo, Oulu or Helsingfors. Other locations can be discussed as well.
About the role
In your role as a Project Manager you will be responsible for managing number of customer delivery projects and long term service agreement (LTSA) customers and support our sales organization. As a part of our international team you will take also part of sales negotiations and customer events.
Fortum Turbine and Generator Services (TGS) offers highly specialized expert services throughout the whole life cycle of a power plant, such as turbine and generator repairs and overhauls, and related control and protection system services and modernizations. Our main focus operating areas are Nordic countries, Baltics, Continental Europe and selected international markets. We have over 160 professionals and hundreds of clients worldwide.
In your role as Project Manager, the following will be the main part of your responsibilities:
- Secure the delivery of the project based on the contract (commercial, technical, EHSQ and time schedule)
- Manage changes within project (technical, financial, time etc)
- Communicate projects status and possible changes to all relevant stakeholders
About you
To succeed in the role we believe that you have a good understanding of generator and/or turbine service business as well as power plant process and maintenance.
Additonally, we see that you bring the following background:
- Preferably you have a university level degree in a relevant technical area.
- Generator and/or electrical/automation related knowledge is seen highly beneficial.
- Service business oriented mindset and good people skills are also key factors to excel in this position.
- Due to the nature of the job, which primarily involves working in Finnish and English with documents and communications, fluency in both Finnish and English is essential.
