About the role 

We’re looking for a Manager, Procurement Operations to lead a team responsible for delivering and continuously developing sourcing processes from a system and operations perspective. You will ensure high-quality, compliant and efficient RFx delivery with contract implementation, seamless stakeholder collaboration, and continuous development of processes and tools. 

You’re responsible for leading a team of procurement specialists, ensuring correct resourcing, capabilities and competencies, and providing performance feedback and coaching. You will define KPIs and ensure a seamless end-to-end process with relevant stakeholders. You will play a key role in digital transformation of RFx processes. 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading and guiding the Procurement Operations team, ensuring high-quality and compliant RFx facilitation, sourcing process in system and contract implementation with defined ordering channels 

  • Shaping and sustaining a motivated team that meets agreed plans and KPIs 

  • Ensuring timely, high-quality service delivery to internal stakeholders and external suppliers 

  • Leading development projects and present the service delivery vision, status, opportunities and challenges 

  • Developing and updating process instructions and templates to streamline operations 

  • Ensuring effective use and continuous development of SAP Ariba to support sourcing, contracting and supplier collaboration, owning templates and system-driven ways of working 

  • Promoting the adoption of digital sourcing platforms such as SAP Ariba to improve sourcing efficiency, transparency, and user experience. 

  • Contributing cross-functional stakeholder and category teams to ensure seamless delivery 

  • Contributing to development projects and driving improvements based on S2P process insights 

 

You’ll report directly to Senior Manager, Procurement Operations. We’re looking for a new team member to join us in Espoo, but we work flexibly in a hybrid model that adapts to both your professional and personal needs. 

 

About you

To succeed in this role you have:

  • At least 5 years of work experience in procurement field 

  • At least 2 years of experience in a manager position 

  • Experience of RFx processes and competitive sourcing activities 

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end S2P process 

  • An academic degree in a relevant field 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in written and spoken English 

  • Proficiency in quantitative and data analysis 

  • Experience with SAP Ariba or similar procurement platforms 

  • Ability to lead change, engage and motivate teams
