About the role

As Lead Integrations and partnerships, you will independently lead, develop and take responsibility for business area collaboration and external partnerships within flexibility technology.

 

The role has end‑to‑end accountability for driving Fortum’s flexibility technology agenda, combining strategic planning, operational ownership, and collaboration across the organization and with external partners.

 

Key responsibilities include but not be limited to:

  • Owning and driving internal business collaboration within Fortum and towards enabling functions such as IT, Legal and Procurement
  • Developing and executing partner strategy for Fortum’s flexibility offerings
  • Ensuring alignment with company‑wide policies, governance and practices
  • Staying up‑to‑date with technology developments, market trends and regulations within the flexibility and physical power markets
  • Ensuring proper service management across flexibility technology solutions
  • Tracking, controlling and optimizing costs within the competency area
  • Participating as an active member of the Flexibility Technology Management Team

 

Meet the team

With ever increasing volatility in physical power market, Fortum has made a strategical decision to centralize its capability to control and trade smaller power demand assets. Mandate for delivering solutions in this area has been given to new flexibility technology team in Fortum IT. Flexibility Technology teams mission is to be able to control any demand asset on the market for the benefit of our clients.

 

About you

We are looking for a senior expert and leader who combines deep technical understanding with strong business orientation and collaboration skills.

 

You bring:

  • A recognized position as a lead expert in technology or related area within a complex organization
  • A long background in technology, physical power markets or consultancy
  • Strong experience in complex system integrations and multistakeholder environments
  • Proven ability to lead crossfunctional collaboration and external partnerships
  • A businessfocused, resultoriented mindset
  • Excellent communication and cooperation skills, enabling effective collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Strong planning and organizational capabilities
  • A solid cybersecurity mindset, with the ability to follow and enforce Fortum’s cybersecurity policies, manuals and guidelines

 

Education and experience:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or another relevant field. Typically, 10–15+ years of relevant work experience in technology, energy markets or related domains.
