Director, Group Performance Management

We are now looking for a Director, Performance Management to join our Group Financial Planning and Analysis team in Espoo. 

 

About the role 

As Director, Group FP&A, Performance management, you will be leading performance management process group wide. You will be also responsible for overseeing performance management within selected business units, ensuring unified ways of working and fostering group-level cooperation in the development of financial planning & analysis. 

 

Key Responsibilities of the role include: 

  • Lead performance management process across the organization, ensuring its effectiveness and alignment with performance management goals. 
  • Implementation and development of performance management and business controlling processes group wide incl. Monthly reporting, Performance Dialog and LTF process. 
  • Ensure consistency and cooperation at the group level for development initiatives within financial planning & analysis. 
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and prepare essential materials for reporting purposes and decision-making, providing critical insights and recommendations to support informed decisions. 

 
About you 
We are looking for a candidate with outstanding leadership and management skills, excellent communication skills and ability to influence others across organization. The ideal candidate should thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and have a proactive, solution-oriented approach with proven track record in large and/or complex change projects utilizing modern systems and implementing new processes. This role requires active communication skills, fluency in both written and spoken English, proficiency in Finnish is highly preferred. 

 

To succeed in this role, you would have:  

  • Minimum 10 years of comprehensive experience in international controlling matters, ideally within a Nordic listed company. 
  • Academic background in Finance or a related field 
  • Outstanding track record in change situations 
  • Proficiency in analytical tools for complex insights and process development within Finance 
  • Experienced in developing processes and tools within Finance 
  • Business and customer-centric mindset 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others across Fortum organization globally 
  • Excellent change management skills
