About the role
We are now looking for a Development Manager to take on a key role in our journey towards the best in class sales and service operations. As a Development Manager within Nordic Customers, you will play a crucial role in securing our strategy execution by managing our portfolio of improvement projects. You will be leading some of our key strategic projects as well as support the organization in making sure we are efficiently executing and receiving value from our development initiatives. While leading cross-functional efforts to secure our customers and business success, you will also contribute to Fortum’s purpose of powering a world where people, businesses and nature thrive together.
Key responsibilities include:
- Project portfolio management: Oversee and manage the project portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic goals and ensuring their successful completion.
- Identifying strategic initiatives: Proactive role in identifying initiatives that support the organization's strategy.
- Project management: Drive specified projects from idea to completion, ensuring they meet objectives and deadlines.
- Methodology support: Provide guidance and support to the organization in project management methodologies and best practices.
- Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
- Performance monitoring: Track and report on project performance, making recommendations for improvements.
About you
To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you have:
- 5+ years of relevant experience leading/managing business/process development.
- Strong project management skills and experience of leading large change initiatives as well as experience of agile methodologies to deliver the value.
- Previous experience of developing customer service and/or sales operations.
- Self-driven, innovative and solution focused approach.
- Leadership and coaching abilities to drive changes.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- University degree (or similar education), preferably in business, management or engineering.
